Active Volunteers
Membership with the FVFD means a strong commitment to volunteerism and teamwork. We have a rooster to include up to 30 members. Our new membership policy requires that you become a nationally registered EMT-B within a year of joining and maintain this status for 12 years. Courses are offered year round in both Pueblo and La Junta areas. The curriculum is tailored to working adults with most class times starting early evening lasting approximately 3 months, 2-3 times per week.
