Fowler Volunteer Fire Department

Our fire department is centrally located in Fowler, Colorado, a rural farming community in Southeastern Colorado. The Fowler Volunteer Fire Department provides volunteer firefighting and ALS/BLS emergency medical care to a 525-square mile region including portions of 5 counties mainly eastern Pueblo and western Otero. We are proud to serve the population in the town and surrounding region.

• Fowler Fire responds to Valley View Electric Structure Fire on January 05, 2008.
  
• Fowler Fire has again received the FEMA Assistance to Firefighters Grant for year 2006 . The department purchased a new SCBA fill station for the Self Contained Breathing Apparaturs (SCBAS).
• Fowler Fire completes a controlled burn of 2 homes on property northwest of town
  
• Fowler Fire has again received the FEMA Assistance to Firefighters Grant for year 2006 . The department will purchase a new SCBA fill station for the Protective Breathing equipment (SCBAS).
